What is a Giclee?
Giclée is high resolution inkjet print produced on large format printers from a digitally generated file. The reason for the association with such high quality is the use of such large format format printers with fade-resistant, archival inks; pigment and solvent based, as well as archival substrates. Giclee on canvas should last 50 years or more without fading.
What is a Embellished Giclee?
The word "embellish" as defined by Webster is "to make beautiful by ornamentation, to adornorto add fanciful details to." On canvas Embellishing refers to painting over areas of the Giclee to enhance color and/or to add brush strokes to the finished work.
